Many years ago I sailed in a troopship called TSS Oxfordshire which along with TSS Nevasa which I presume was the sister ship sailed from the UK taking approximately four weeks to complete the journey to Hong Kong. Ports of call along the way included Gibraltar, Port Said, Aden, Columbo in Ceylon as it was then, Singapore and Hong Kong. Not the fastest boats on the water but they managed 400-500 miles a day throughout the journey

That depends on how fast the cruise ship is traveling. Typically cruises from Baltimore take at least a day and a half to reach the Bahamas primarily due to the speed limits on the Chesapeake Bay.

it depends on where you are in Africa. like if you are around southern Africa it would take about 4 to 5 days. or if you are eastern Africa it would be about 3 to 4 because about the positioning of where you are. so the answer would be roughly 4.5 days.

According to Visual Passage Planner, in January, with an average speed of 6.5 knots, approx 22 days. So 20-30 days seems about right. There was an article in one of the sailing magazines detailing that passage. I'll try and find it. I seem to remember about 30 days.

It depends on the weather but expect a long, slow, uphill slog. If you were lucky enough to average 100 miles per day, it would take at least 12 days but I'd count on two to three weeks.

Well it depends which airline you take. If you take Pakistan Intl. Airlines then they usually take 5 to 6 hours. Malaysian airlines usually take 6 hours plus. Pakistan Airlines pilots are like truck drivers. They boost in free air.
