Does scholarship given to students help community?

Yes, because it can help disadvantaged or nontraditional students get a chance at attending college. No, because it affects an individual student. Unless a student is allowed to give the scholarship to help nonprofit organization or charities then this is when it can help the community. Some scholarships give additional fees to help camps and other groups of some sort. It lies in the student to utilize the scholarship as motivation to help affect a community in a positive way.

Will mensa membership help get scholarships?

I think that Mensa offers some scholarships that you can apply for. But otherwise, no. That's because it's not the fact that you have a high IQ that gets you scholarships. It's what you *do* with that IQ that matters.

Simply being a member of Mensa won't help you get scholarships. But if you're smart, you can apply those smarts to your scholarship essays, and perhaps get some money that way.

And, as I said, I think, if I remember right, Mensa offers a couple of scholarships that its members can apply for. Check that out on their website.
