what's the question? how to do it? specific to corolla or just serpentine belt in general? release tension on belt by: -put a socket/breaker bar or ratched on the tensioner pulley bolt and use it to relieve tension on the belt -slide belt off tensioner pulley. replace with new belt in same pattern across all pulleys and again relieve tension on the tensioner puller to slide the new belt back on --you may need to remove the bolt on the tensioner closest to the pulley (i don't know just judging by the picture i found) ---if you don't know what the tensioner looks like look up the part on autozone's website for a picture you can match on your car

Get a spark plug socket and wrench that fits the plug body and remove it by turning counter-clockwise.

First - make sure the diagram to reinstall it is still on the car or draw a real good diagram of the belt route. You need a socket wrench and vertical breaking bar connected to the idler pully (same as: spring tension pully) mounting bolt. Push the top of the breaking bar towards the back of the car to release the tension and remove the belt from the alternator with your left hand. (Be careful not to slip the socket and snag your fingers between the belt and pully.) You can now remove belt and install the new belt. When you have it routed correctly the last slack portion of the belt will be in your left hand and you must again push back on the breaking bar to give enough slack to place it over the alternator pully.

With engine off try putting a small dab of silicone grease on each side of the belt. It works for me.

As you listed no make, model, engine, or year, all I can say is look under the hood for a placard diagram. Usually there is one there.

You need to remove the old belt from the power steering pump. Then loosen, not remove the bolts on the alternator. Slide the belt over around and through the fan and onto the belt grove for the alternator. Then with a large bar push the alternator away so it tightens the belt. Later if not tight the belt will squeal. While putting pressure on the alternator tighten the bolts. Reinstall the power steering belt in the same way but you can tighten the belt on this one using hand pressure rather than the bar.

That I know of, there is NO serpentine belt, unless you are talking about the the Timing Belt (hardly serpentine, but anyway), it has a belt tensioner, not automatic, though.

Such diagrams are usually posted on a sticker somewhere under the hood, sometimes in the auto's manual, otherwise check with your local fast parts store, like auto zone, o'rielly's or advantage, they are usually very helpful.

I have a 92 dodge dynasty and I went to the salvage yard and drew a picture of one, went home and put it on. Works great now. When I tried to get a picture of the belt pattern from the auto parts store, it didn't match up with the way the pulleys were on my car.

Just pry the belt tensioner back and remove the old belt, and install a new one.

I will assume that you are replacing the belt here. The tensioner has a large bolt on the front of it, find a socket to fit and pull or push, which ever way seems to loosen it for you, they are automatically adjusting so when reapplying the belt just move it out of the way again and slowly release it back onto the belt.
