xbox 360 and ps3, possibly pc.
They are either manifested sins of yourself, the character, or somethings that the character hated in their life and the fustrations it caused them. If you go to the Silent Hill wikia you will find some answers there too.
There are many games on the franchise, but the recurring element is that there is a person who has some personal burdens, and is put in this small town, Silent Hill, where most of life has changed, and roads have been disabled. Read upon specifics on Wikipedia.
There are 7 games in total. Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4: The Room, Silent Hill: Origins, Silent Hill Homecoming, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
After finding Joey Bartlett's watch at Roseheights Cemetary, you end up in Silent Hill. When you walk further in town you will see the Grand Hotel, the hotel is boarded up so there's no getting in. Across the hotel is an alley (Beware as there is a Smog in the alley) drop down off the ledge and get under the fire truck and you will find the axe laying next to a dead body
It doesn't, It really just depends on the person and the game if you don't like it then fine but i would recommend that you at least try the first or second game.
No, it's rated R.
Silent Hill is real. Located in Centralia, Pennsylvania. It is almost deserted.
As recently as 1981, there were over 1,000 residents living in Centralia, although the population has now dwindled to 11 (we'll say that again: 11 people) as a result of a 40-year mine fire burning beneath the borough (we'll say that again: it's been burning for 40 years... underneath the town). This is certainly not unlike Silent Hill, which was left deserted since devastating coal fires ravaged the town and its people.
The inferno started when a trash fire was lit in an abandoned mine pit in Centralia in 1962. The fire ignited an exposed vein of coal and spread throughout the mines beneath the borough. Several attempts have been made and millions of dollars have been spent unsuccessfully to extinguish this fire that still burns today.
The "problem" wasn't really acknowledged until a series of accidents in the '70s and '80s, including the appearances of sinkholes hundreds of feet deep. In 1984, Congress allocated more than $40 million for relocation efforts, and most residents moved to nearby Mount Carmel and Ashland.
However, a very few families opted to stay, and they're still there, despite the fact that the state of Pennsylvania has condemned all the buildings in the borough and the US Postal Service has revoked its zip code of 17927. The 11 holdouts include the town's 89-year-old mayor, Lamar Mervine, who refuses to leave because "I like it here."
Try going to google maps, Type in West Virginia silent hill, pick first option.
The same place the monsters come from: the character's head. Everything in Silent Hill is a reflection of the character's psyche and inner-demons. Everything is also symbolic. The Otherworld represents degeneration, the darkest corners of people's hearts. It's a physical manifestation of the mental struggles the character is having. That's why every character's Otherworld looks different. It's customized for everybody. Heather's is rusted and industrialized, James' is molded and dilapidated, Angela's is fiery, etc.
Sadly none as of yet. Though, there are some art websites with plushie makers that are open to commissions.
Its a swivel flashlight. I know this because I did a search on google and I came across a flashlight that looks exacly the same as the one Harry Mason uses in silent hill 1.
oasis - f**king in the bushes
No it isn't. The song is "Don't You Just Know It" - Huey "Piano" Smith.
Actuallly, oasis - fu**ing the bushes IS the correct answer for "What is the song playing during the last fight scene in snatch" The song Dont You Just Know It, is the song that plays during the closing credits.
'Take ya tongue out my arse' - it is Oasis!!!
Silent Hill is based on a video game series, released in the late 1990's and no the games aren't based on a true story, however the town itself is inspired by a town, which overnight was evacuated after an oil fire ignited in its mines, it's never died as of this die, and the town is supposedly still shrouded by ash!
Many people will have different opinions, but honestly my word I would say can be highly respected, I am quite a Silent Hill fanatic and pretty much study it to the core. I look beyond it just being monsters and fog but into the actual anthology of it.
The worst Silent Hill installment was easily the movie for millions of reasons, which naturally makes Homecoming the worst of the games as it borrows largely from the movie. The movie was made by a team that had no business making it in the first place and so did Homecoming, so that on top of borrowing from the movie results in a very incorrect and flawed Silent Hill experience. However, Homecoming is overall a pretty good game and a fun and interesting survival horror. If one were to look past Silent Hill and look at it as more of a Stephen King or Sci Fi channel type of story then its a good experience. But when tagged with Silent Hill its very much full of errors. So, good horror game, bad Silent Hill game. It is pretty much the opposite of everything in the Silent Hill golden age (silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3).
In my restless dreams,
I see that town.
You promised you'd take me
there again someday.
But you never did.
Well I'm alone there now...
In our 'special place'...
Waiting for you.
Waiting for you to
come to see me.
But you never do.
And so I wait, wrapped in my
cocoon of pain and loneliness.
I know I've done a terrible
thing to you. Something you'll
never forgive me for.
I wish I could change
that, but I can't.
I feel so pathetic and ugly
laying here, waiting for you...
Every day I stare up at the cracks
in the ceiling and all I can think
about is how unfair it all is...
The doctor came today.
he told me I could go
home for a short stay.
It's not that I'm getting better.
It's just that this may be
my last chance...
I think you know what I mean...
Even so, I'm glad to be coming
home. I've missed you terribly.
But I'm afraid James.
I'm afraid you don't really
want me to come home.
Whenever you come see me,
I can tell how hard it is on you...
I don't know if you
hate me or pity me...
Or maybe I just disgust you...
I'm sorry about that.
When I first learned that
I was going to die, I just
didn't want to accept it.
I was so angry all the time and I
struck out at everyone I loved most.
Especially you, James.
That's why I understand
if you do hate me.
But I want you to
know this, James.
I'll always love you.
Even though our life together had
to end like this, I still wouldn't
trade it for the world. We had
some wonderful years together.
Well this letter had gone on
too long so I'll say goodbye.
I told the nurse to give
this to you after I'm gone.
That means that as you read
this, I'm already dead.
I can't tell you to remember me,
but I can't bear for you to
These last few years since I
became ill...I'm so sorry for
what I did to you, did to us...
You've given me so much and
I haven't been able to return
a single thing.
That's why I want you to live for yourself now.
Do what's best for you, James.
You made me happy.
A cheat code for the game Cubikill 6 is opening the cheats menu (Inventory menu): type the word powerglove in caps. This cheat allows weapons unlocked (except the FB connect Extra.
The silent treatment is a method of stonewalling and preventing necessary conversation to resolve an issue. It is abusive and not the way to treat someone you love. It certainly can cause heartache and the death of a relationship. Just because you can do it doesn't mean that you should.
as in all silent hills you get an axe after you done that puzzle in the church you get a watch then you pass out when you wake up your in a street its down a ally then you jump down then you walk along the ledge duck under the fire truck and you get a fireman axe and later on in the game when you get into silent hill then when you go in the prison after you beath the siam in the back of a truck is a pulsky axe not sure on the spelling of pulsky but anyway during the game you get better versions of things
