I don't really no, I have seen a massive one once so basically they get massive!
How long a garden snail is depends on the type of snail. The common garden snail is generally less than 1 inch in length but some species can be as large as 3 inches in length.
How does the wombat and snail benefit from one another?
Usually a snail named Simon comes in the night to the Wombat while he is doing his business and eats it all up. Simon is happy.
Can snails survive freezing temperatures?
Yes, depending on the species and regional variation. Common Snapping Turtles in New York and Canada hibernate through freezing temperatures every winter, and have even been seen swimming in ponds under the ice.
How do SLUGS survive the winter?
they live anywhere where they can mate, this way they can spend the winter occupied
What do snails small tentacles do?
Tentacles on snails are sensory organs. They use them to feel around their environment. Also, the largest pair (or only pair, on those species that only have two tentacles) have a light-sensitive patch on them (sometimes at the tip, sometimes at the base)... the "eyes" of the snail. There are also olfactory sense cells (sense of smell) on the tentacles.
Is duck complete or incomplete metamorphosis?
No they don't. Once the bird hatches its body form is fixed.
It depends. I heard of snails that eat other snails. And I suppose that water snails are kind of omnivorous because they eat the fish pellets that are mostly protein. However, garden snails eat vegetables like lettuce and carrots.
How does a pond snail obtain oxygen?
pulmonates or land snail have a space in the body known as the mantle cavity this area has many blood vessels is well supplied with blood vessels and acts as the animal's lung. land snails have a lung that works almost exactly the same way that our lungs do. The lung can be opened to the outside via a hole called a pneumostome on the right side of the snails body. Opening it to inhale or exhale and closing it to keep from drying out. Oxygen enters into the snails body from the air within the mantle cavity. Carbon dioxide diffuses from the blood into the mantle cavity, to be released when it exhales. Water snails have gills through which they can breathe. I think they get it from there things on top of there head!!!!
Yes. because every thing living has a brain
---
Really?
So bacteria has a brain? oramoeba? What about Sponges, Starfish, Jellyfish & corals? None of these animals have a brain.
Like cone snails theyhavean arrangement of nerves called a ganglia, which is not a brain.
So the answer is no "cone snails do not have a brain".

Can a snail fix a crack in its shell by itself?
Yes it can it is chemically pr oven by the mixture of melded on the grass and nutrient's it also grows back into place just like if u brake a nail
It will but if I'm not mistaken is labelled for outdoors only. Remember for bedbugs you need a combination of products, since there are many places you need to treat that can't be dusted. BB's are best left to a professional if you have that option.
How many years can a snail sleep 4?
Are slugs cold blooded or warm blooded?
Slugs are considered to be cold blooded as they use exothermic means to control their body temperature. This means that they control their temperature via external means by taking advantage of the environment around them. This would include things like sunning on rocks to warm up, or shading themselves to cool down.
What is a cephalopod that has no shell?
A octopus is a cephalopod that has no shell. Also squid have internal shells that are not used for protection.
they are still slugs
No, because slugs don't have shells on the outside of their body, they do have shells on the inside of their body though. Snails have shells on the outside and they don't grow out of their shells.
they put them in their mouths and chew, followed by a gulp.
Well, snails just kinda....eat. I am taking care of snails currently right now, and have fed them lettuce, and I have noticed that they kind of "bite" into the lettuce, as if they have teeth. You can hear them eating through the crunchy lettuce (crunch, crunch!). Once a snail bit me on the hand when I was letting it slither on. It doesn't hurt at all. I guess it was hungry at the time, but they don't bite me anymore.
A limpit lives in the ocean, clinging on for dear life on a rock. They feed of nutrients floating around in the water, and don't move around a lot. Although when the tide is in, they can move around using their 'Foot'.
Maybe if they're dead! Snails generally just eat... whatever else the fish don't. Snails will make quick work of a dead fish, though.
No, humans are warm blooded. Cold blooded animals can change their internal temperature to match the external temperature, while warm blooded animals maintain a high internal temperature regardless of the external temperature. The reason why humans have sweat glands is to cool your body when the external temperature is high.
What do snails eat in the wild?
they eat leaves and flowers and stuff like that. When they are pets they eat lettuce.
