I do not know how to show you a picture, but this stamp was a small size stamp,

and pictured a wreath in green with a large red bow at the bottom. There are

3 green candles at the left of the wreath and the denomination of the stamp of 4 cents.

US Scott #1700 lists at $0.25 mint and $0.20 in used condition.

The first ounce is 44 cents. The second and each additional ounce is 17 cents. And if the envelope is not 'flat' or oddly shaped it may cost more. (10/09)

Postage for an ordinary letter to Germany is 98 cents today in 2010.

These stamps are virtually worthless:one dealer I know of will pay 5 cents per hundred , if you have $50.00 worth and pay postage to send them to him.

I don't know, but try a site like www.ValueJockey.com. There, you can ask questions about how much stuff is worth.

It depends whether the stamp is new or used, old, rare, scarce or with a mistake. Most used stamps are usually only worth a few cents. New stamps are worth at their face value. The old, rare scarce or stamps with a mistake can be worth from pennies to 100's, 1000's, to possibly a million dollars.

There were no stamps in the early 1800's. The world's first postage stamp was issued by Great Britain in 1840.

US Scott number 1371 has a face value of 6 cents. It has a catalog purchase price of 80 cents mint or 15 cents used. Which means you would be lucky to get anything for a used stamp and might get a dime or so for a mint one.

There were no Christmas Stamps issued by the post office in the 1940's. These may be some stamps created by a charity such as the American Lung Society to raise funds. There are collectors, but you'll have to identify the specific item and then research the collectors market.

The U.S. Mint has never produced a circulating $2 coin.

Note that this stamp is not from 1866, it is the date the steam carriage was created.

Minimal value for this stamp indicates that the cost is in packaging and tracking and not the stamp itself. A dealer isn't going to be interested in purchasing a single copy. You would be better to use it for postage rather than trying to sell it. Or trade with another collector!

The C stamp came out in 1981. It has a face value of 20 cents.

Depends on the stamp and the plate numbers. Since the 40's, many people saved plate blocks from their sheets of stamps. Many of them are very common and can be purchased for about 5 times face value. Consult a specialized catalog to find specific values.

Western Australian One Penny stamps were issued from about 1854 to about 1910, mostly with a swan on them.

The colour and condition would help to identify the stamp, but in MUH condition, they could get up to a few hundred Dollars AUD.
