"Egotistic Suicide" also refers to a sociological theory of Emil Durkheim that relates suicide to social, religious and political integration in society, and predicts an increased suicide rate when individualism is substituted for strong group identity. As social structures weaken, people become "excessively individualistic," and more inclined to pursue self-interests at the expense of pro-social behaviors.

The UK Suicide Act of 1961 states

No. You should have your own mind and not blindly follow what others tell you to do. Suicide is never a rational choice.
What is the fear of suicide? If you mean the fear of thinking that a loved one might take his/her own life, that seems rather self-evident. But, if you mean what fears accompany one's own suicidal impulses... well, that's another matter.
Let's start with this. Suicide is usually an idea that presents itself as an option when one's pain and suffering begins to dwarf one's ability to cope. The idea that someone takes their own life as a message to the world is largely complete nonsense. When someone is in an evaporating puddle of functionality, they are hanging on. Anomic is closest because it refers to an event that undermines social organization, which causes confusion in terms of moral beliefs and rules. For example: a business man killing himself after the economic downturn.
Is drowning commiting suicide?
Only if a person does it deliberately with the intention of dying. If someone holds another person under water until they drown, that is murder. Falling into some water and drowning is an accident unless someone deliberately pushed the victim. Then it is murder, or possibly manslaughter if it was a prank. It would depend on why the person pushed them.
Also, a person could drown due to medical conditions. For instance, a swimmer may suffer epilepsy and go into a seizure while swimming. Or a swimmer may be about ready to have a heart attack and they might not be used to a lot of activity, and they really push themselves and then die.
Related to this is aspiration. That is when you drown on your own vomit or other fluids in your lungs. Most of the times that is unintentional, even if the circumstances that brought that on are voluntary. Someone may decide to get really, really intoxicated at a party. However, they don't plan on blacking out, vomiting while unconscious, and choking or drowning to death. A few cases like that are actually murder, such as spiking someone's drink with the intention that they will pass out and vomit.
