If you are at the point where you really feel it's better to die than to go on living, then you have hit bottom, and once you hit bottom, there's really no place else to go but up. So what have you got to lose by staying for the ride back up? Is suicide or attempted suicide against the law in Ohio?

Just what it says .... teens that commit suicide. Sometimes mental illness can run in the gene pool of one's family, but it doesn't mean everyone in the family will suffer from mental illness. Bullying by peers is a high one for causing some teens to commit suicide; lost love is in the mix as well, but a lower percentage. Rape, loneliness, drugs, to name a few can cause teens to become depressed and eventually they feel there is nowhere else to go but taking their own life. The sad thing is they don't realize there is help and medication out there for them. Being in your teens isn't forever and life can get better if one chooses to aim for it.

Well I overdoced on sleeping pills before it's not fun they put a tube down your nose into your stomach. It's painful the whole time that tube is in. I had one in for six hours and they hand pump charcoal into ur stomach to obsorb the chemicals. And if you overdosed on sleeping pills u don't only get put in a hospital they put you in a phyic ward as well which I was in for about four hours. It sucks

It would be more of a threat to group dynamics than a suicide risk factor. If a common shared symbol or celebrity vanished, then those who look up to that symbol who are already suicidal would be more likely to end it then. A cult following could be a risk factor in it being a group thing.
