It depends entirely on what skill you want to train. Combat skills don't really have a fast training method. The best you can do is wear enough armor that you can soak up a lot of damage and use fast underpowered weapons. Thus you take a lot of hits (leveling up armor) and deal lots of hits in every fight (leveling up one/two handed).

Archery is a pain in the butt, I'd go with trainers for this one.

Alchemy is easy - collect lots of ingredients, grind out lots of random potions and sell them (also training speech).

Smithing and Enchantment are trained similarly. Make an iron dagger, enchant it and sell it. Repeat.

Active magic skills are a pain to train quickly - there's no exploits that I know of (but then, I'm not a big fan of the solo mage in any RPG, so I tend to avoid magic like plague in Elder Scrolls games).

Sneak, just walk around crouched all the time. It levels up with time. Pickpocket, you'll want to train at first, until you get a decent success rate, then just pickpocket everyone you see. Picklocks just don't get the generate-a-key perk and unlock every door in every town at night, wait until they relock, etc.

The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages should have more detailed exploit strategies - they seem to be the main user community for Skyrim.

They randomly show up in blacksmith vendors at low levels, you can mine them at any level as long as you have a pickaxe or you can get a high smithing skill and then they will show up in a Blacksmith's vendor list. Note your smithing skill must be 80 and you must have taken the ebony smithing perk to forge ebony weapons and armor.

Your graphics card combined with your monitor capabilities need to be compatible with Skyrim's video settings. They may not all work despite the fact they are shown in the resolution options. If one does not work, try a different setting until you find one that best suits your video aspect and quality, provided that your system can handle the quality settings. If none of the resolution options work, you may need to upgrade your video card or download the newest drivers for it, that and install the newest DirectX runtime modules.

There probably is, and by that I mean that there is but they might either work or fail. Most of them, however, would require you to do surveys; some might not be able to be trusted, but you should try the risk.

I do not know specifically, but in general I think I can answer your question. In Skyrim, NPCs (like the guards) are programed to ALWAYS have certain weapons and clothes. In order to ensure that a guard never runs out of arrows or is missing his sword, etc., the weapons are in a hidden inventory. You, as the 'hero' cannot access the hidden inventory without using console commands (using a PC program to access the game data). This inventory is also often programed to 'refill' if items go missing. I don't know if that system works for arrows, but I'd be willing to bet it does. The only way to get 'free arrows' from those guards is (probably) to stand at the target and pick them off one by one.

You cannot access Bthardamz unless you are on a mission for the daedric lord Peryite. The shrine of Peryite is east of Bthardamz, and a little south. Once you are on the mission, you'll be able to get in, the vines will disappear.

If you are indeed on the mission and you still can't get into Bthardamz, then you've got a serious bug and may have to wait for a patch.

Upper and lower garments are combined together in Skyrim. So almost all regular clothing comes with trousers, however there is a 'ragged trousers' item that is just a lower garment.
