according to odeon cinema the film is a sci-fi.

Katniss is in the Remake Center getting her legs waxed by Venia, a woman with aqua hair and gold tattoos on her eyebrows. She's also been scrubbed clean and had her nails done. The only thing they've left the same is the braid her mother had arranged.

After every hair is plucked, they call in her stylist, Cinna. When he arrives, Katniss is surprised by how normal he looks. Even his voice doesn't mimic the Capitol accent. Cinna compliments Katniss' braid, and tells her he is a new stylist for the Games. He says that he specifically asked for District 12, Katniss' home and the least favored District.

The two discuss Katniss's outfit for the opening ceremony. Usually the get-up has to do with the industry of the district. This means coal-mining. Katniss expects a coal miner outfit, but Cinna says no, this year, they're focusing instead on coal.

A few hours later, Katniss is dressed in a black unitard and a streaming orange, yellow, and red cape, that Cinna plans to set on fire during her chariot ride to the stadium.

The chariot from each district starts moving along in the parade until it's time for District 12 - that's when Cinna lights both Katniss and Peeta on fire.

At the last minute, Cinna motions for Peeta and Katniss to hold hands, adding the perfect touch of rebellion

The Capitol audience loves them and they have even bothered to find their names on the program. Katniss and Peeta are still gripping hands when the chariot is heading back to the Training Center and Peeta tells Katniss she should wear flames more often. Katniss smiles.

Katniss remembers then that Peeta is trying to kill her. But two can play at this game, so she goes on her tiptoes and kisses him on the cheek.

A career tribute is a person who is sure of winning the Hunger Games and tries to get his name picked in the ballot on purpose so he/she can go onto the games and win it for the money and various prizes.

Annie Thurman is one of the newest additions to the cast of The Hunger Games movie. She will be playing the role of a Tribute girl from District 9.

Rue does not take the stingers out... Katniss does it herself. Rue then uses an ointment (some sort of cream) to heal the stings.

Katniss dropped a tracker jacker nest on Glimmer (A tracker jacker nest is a muttation of the Capitol, also used in wars) but Katniss got stung three times before the tracker jackers stung Glimmer. Glimmer died of the venom and too many stings.

Katniss uses her arrow to hunt animals and she used it in the hunger games as well,the mocking jay pin has an arrow too so i think it means like a sign of her and the rebellion.

For the girls Primrose Everdeen is selected at the reaping, Katniss Everdeen volunteers as tribute. She takes Prim's place. For the boys Peeta Mellark is selected

They did not show Katniss decorating her body with flowers because it showed signs of rebellion

That the victors who won the Games in the past are going back into the arena. Normally, the deal is that if you win the games, you're out of the arena for good. But President Snow changed that rule in order to get rid of Katniss in a way that wouldn't arouse suspicion, since she was an idol in nearly all of the Capitol

It means that when Peeta is being kind to Katniss, it's harder for her to hate him, and if she doesn't hate him, she can't kill him. She needs to kill him if she wants to win The Hunger Games.

The mockingjay on the front of the book it shows a sign that you're protected, its a sign of safety and love, it explains it more in catching fire, but its showing a sign!

The mockingjay is a cross breed between naturally occuring mockingbirds and an artificially created species called "jabberjays". Jabberjays were genetically engineered to be able to remember human conversations and repeat them back verbatim with human voices. They were used to spy on rebels who opposed Capitol (the authoritarian government of Panem). When the rebels figured this out, they fed lies to the jabberjays, and they were abandoned by the Capitol and left in the wilderness to die. Because the jabberjays were bred to be male, it was thought that they would die off in the wild, however, when released they bred with female mockingbirds and created the species "mockingjay". Capitol did not desire these birds to come out the way they did, therefore it is a symbol of rebellion, due to its undesirable effect. The protagonist Katniss becomes the embodiment of the mockingjay - a rebel that Capitol intended to control but who came out much different than planned.

After defeating the Capitol, the Hunger Games was discontinued. The Hunger Games was no more.

In the epilogue for Mockingjay (the final book) it doesn't say the names of the children but she does have two. the first one is a girl with dark hair and blue eyes old enough to wonder about her mothers dark past and the other is a little boy with blonde curls and gray eyes who is still a toddler. read the epilogue to find out more about the Mellark children.

Not sure what you mean . . . a dandelion looks like a dandelion. Like, the weed that resembles a flower, that grows in your yard. It's bright yellow, and then it turns to a grayish white that is blown apart by the wind to seed again somewhere for the never-ending cycle.
