If they are divided they are easily controlled and the capitol can basically manipulate their situations however they please because usually the districts have no way of fighting back.

Reality TV is a related theme of The Hunger Games because the games are broadcast to all twelve districts 24/7. Even though the games are not scripted the Capitol can control environmental elements that can effect the actions of the tributes, much like reality TV nowadays.

The Hunger Games is a trilogy from Suzanne Collins about a young girl named Katniss Everdeen who volunteers for her sister Prim and enters the 74th annual Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is when two tributes (people) from each district (12) are called to fight to the death until one victor is left. The games were originated from the "Dark Days" when the districts revolted and one district was destroyed.

I think that it is District 2 because in the third book, it mentions the workers mining from a mountain in District 2 so that they can store their weapons there. Disrict 2 could be in the Rockies, but the major city that the books actually say is in the Rockies is The Capitol. They say this when Katniss and Peeta first enter the train to go to The Capitol for their first Hunger Games. They also say at this time that Disrict Twelve is in the Appalachians.

(some other people might say they dont have black hair but there a little right because in the movie cato has blonde hair but in th book black clove has blonde hair somtimes and black hair somtimes in the movie in the book clove has black hair so who knows the truth?)

In the book, the District 11 male tribute, Thresh, killed the District 2 female, Clove, by smashing her skull with a rock. In the film, Thresh slammed Clove's skull repeatedly against the metal walls of the Cornucopia until her neck snapped

There are several conflicts, the main one being Katniss's fight for her life during the game. Before that, Prim, her sister, was chosen as tribute for the games, this was resolved through Katniss volunteering to take her place. Katniss promises Prim she will try her hardest to come home to Prim and win the games. THat is what drives Katniss to win and come home to district 12. At the end several knew conflicts arise. First is the fact that Peeta feels betrayed because Katniss was not serious about the connection betweeen her and him, like Peeta was. This is a plot driving conflict in catching fire. also when Katniss and Peeta are ready to commit suicide at the end of the Games, the other districts see this as an act of rebellion rather than that their love for each other wasw so great that neither one could live without the other. Another conflict that also finds its way into CAtching Fire.

Peeta is captured by the capital, so that they can use him Katniss. They torture Peeta, and make him try to convince Katniss that a war is not a good idea, and that President Snow should still lead. The capital will go to any lengths of torturing Peeta, to break Katniss, and end the rebellion.

Poor Peeta :(

They couldn't sleep, and its mostly natural instinct or curiosity that leads a person to the roof or balcony of a building to sit and think. It's calming to sit and watch the lights and buildings from above. :)

Because she was starving, and he wanted to help her. His mother had said to throw the bread at the pigs because Peeta had burnt it. instead he throws it to Katniss.

The burn medicine doesn't serve Peeta at all. He doesn't need it. When fire is set to the place where Katniss set camp, she got many burns, so the burn medicine was of much use to her. Hope this helps! :)
