From recent interviews Vince McMahon is currently unconcerned about TNA being a threat to his company. Primarily his unconcern is the fact that TNA has tried to go head to head with Monday Night Raw previously and it has been unsuccessful. I do believe a war is possible when TNA can get their ratings and the amount of viewers up. A million that is steady is what TNA should require before considering the option of going head to head with WWE. WWE also has its hand in everything that is merchandisable.
