Why does my 99 escort zx2 blinkers blink to fast?
Check all of your blinker lights. There are two in each tail light, one in each center signal, and one at the corner of each headlight, a total of 8 lights should blink when you have the flashers on. If a bulb is burnt out, it will increase the blink rate. Also, installing LED's in the tail lights will cause the blink rate to increase.
Where is flasher on 2003 Expedition?
Hi-
My hazards were working, but my blinkers would only flash for 1-2 flashes and then stop.
-checked all my bulbs
-checked the fuses 1, 23-27 (per other discussions)
-figured it was the flasher unit
-had a hard time finding it...
Found the flasher for my 2003 ford expedition-
Sitting in the drivers, the flasher unit in on the left side under the panel (if you put your hazards on you will be able to hear it and feel where it is).
I took off the panel under the steering wheel and reached my arm up the the left side. This is where it got tricky- it is under a plastic box. Put your fingers around the sides of the box and push in and the little black box cover should pop right off. I was then able to pull the old flasher off and install the new one:)
-Blinkers worked!!!
-All with 4 kids running around the garage!
Good luck!

How many feet do you have to signal a lane change?
In general, it's recommended to signal a lane change at least 100 feet before you make the move. This gives other drivers adequate time to react to your intentions. However, local traffic laws may vary, so it's always best to check specific regulations in your area. Additionally, using your turn signal well in advance enhances safety on the road.
How to unstick hazard warning switch?
A fairly quick and relatively inexpensive trick might be to spritz a bit of electronics contact cleaner into the mechanism. Not too much, though. Give the directions a quick scan and be sure it won't damage your trim or your plastic. It usually doesn't, but read. Don't soak the thing. If a bit won't work, a lot almost certainly won't. If the switch is actually the thing at fault, this might work. Certainly it's much less painful and more easily accomplished than pulling the switch (though it may come to that). Good luck.

How do you change the bulb on the rear tail light of a '99 Suburban?
The whole light assembly needs to be removed. Open the rear doors. By the hinges there is an opening with 2 screws. One high and one low. These screws hold the light assembly in place. After removing the screws the light assembly will pivot out. Disconnect the electrical quick connect. You should have the assembly free from the car. Then remove 2 screws that hold the sockets in place. That will give you access to the bulbs. It really is simple once you do it. Just take care not to drop the screws.
Once you remove the two screws, as stated, be very careful or they will fall down behind the sheet metal. Then, first tilt out the side of the light closest to the tailgate until you see the light harness, then carefully keep tilting away from the tailgate and push inward. This will remove two metal clips on the light from slots in the vehicle. You will be able to see these clips as you tilt the light away.
