Recommended engine oil for 2.0 litre TFSI engine on VW Golf GTI is Mobil1 5W30 or Mobil1 0W40. You can use a different brand with these viscosity ratings, but make sure it is FULLY SYNTHETIC,( NOT A SYNTHETIC BLEND or a mineral based oil). I've researched and asked VW service departments because I own a 2007 Golf GTI and it's a MAGNIFICENT car!

In my 00', Golf which is probably the same as yours there is a latch under the steering column. Pull down on it and it should release. The steering wheel neck should then become adjustable. From that point adjust to your liking and then push bottom latch back into original position.

Replace the fuel injectors or clean them and replace your fuel filter. You may have to replace your fuel filter a few times. If you can, take your gas tank out and wash it with water. Sugar will not turn to sluge or 'cement' in your gas tank, actually sugar doesn't even dissolve in gasoline. It will however block your fuel injectors and fuel filter.

The seat is bolted to the floor in four places. You may have to remove the plastic trim that covers the rail mechanism. Slide the seat all the way back and remove the front two nuts. Then move the seat all the way forward and remove the two rear nuts. Remove the seat.

If its a Mk 4 lift up the drivers side rear seat base remove carpet remove three screws on black lid lift off turning anti clockwise take off pipes black feed blue red and cables then lift out pump fuel gauge unit , while you have the innards removed it would be a good time to replace the fuel filter as well

If it's a Mk2 then there are 2 fuel pumps, one inside the fuel tank, and one under the car, first relive the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay while the engine is running and the engine will die on its own, due to lack of fuel pressure. Then unbolt and remove the fuel pump of your choice and reinstall the same way as was removed.

First you remove the steeringwheel...then you apply the boss with the big nut and washer.

Done

You need to modify the mk4 steering wheel to fit. Get the 3.5 cabrio wheel. It looks similar and no mods required
