Where is the fuse location chart on a 1999 VW Beetle?
The fuse compartment is located at the end of the dashboard (driver's side). When you open the driver door you will see a removable panel on the end of the dash. Open the panel and on the inside of the panel you will find a fuse chart as well a nifty little tool used to pull the fuses out (and put them back in). The chart has little symbols indicating what they are for. Some are pretty easy to identify, others, not so easy. If you have the owners manual, there probably is a section explaining the different symbols. Good Luck !

P1441 Evaporative Emission System Flow During Non-Purge. P1621 PCM Memory Performance Take this car to a professional as this is going to take some skill and knowledge to repair. Do not throw parts at the problem. here's where you can find out what the codes mean; http://autorepair.about.com/cs/troubleshooting/l/bl_obd_main.htm This is interesting. I assume the original poster's warning lights were on, but can there be issues for which a code is generated but nothing lights up on the dashboard? I think I'm using a lot of gas in my 2003 2.2L but I don't have any warning lights on. Phil I think the two codes being returned have a system in common - the vacuum system/Evaporative recovery system. Evap. (vapor cannister) code MAY be as a result of excessive fuel flow into the cylinders overloading the cannister's capacity. Possible cause is a failing Oxygen sensor giving a "Lean" indication to the engine computer, causing more fuel than is needed to be injected into the cylinders and captured by the vapor system. Trying to keep track of the changing readings may be taxing the computer's memory. Have the oxygen sensor checked. If it is functioning correctly, check for vacuum leaks, cracked or broken vacuum hoses.

How do you change the spark plugs on a 1997 Plymouth Breeze?
Answer:
On the 2.4L engine, the 4 spark plugs are through the valve cover on top of the engine. You will need a deep 5/8" spark plug socket and a 6" to 8" extension. The socket should have a rubber liner inside to hold the plug when you extract the old one and insert the new one. The rubber also helps align and isolate the ceramic part of the plug from the metal socket wall which minimizes the risk of breaking a plug. On this engine and with original wires it's hard (nearly impossible) to mix them up but it's good practice to replace one plug at a time. So for example, working from left to right, pull the boot of the wire from the first plug (don't pull by the wire itself), insert the socket with the extension attached into the hole and make sure it is firmly seated over the head of the spark plug at the bottom and turn counter clockwise using a ratchet wrench. As resistance lessens keep turning but also pull up slightly on the extension until the plug is completely free then remove it from the socket. Adjust the gap the new plug to .05", push it into the socket and reinsert by reversing the process. You may encounter moderate resistance caused by dried oil or dirt so make sure to get past this point so that the plug is fully inserted but do not over-tighten or you risk breaking the spark plug.. Firmly reconnect the plug boot (wire) and move on to the next.
If you find that one plug is noticeably more soiled than the others then likely you will need to change your ignition (spark plug) wires also. Even if only 1 is defective the whole set should be replaced.
btw) It is important to remove anything small and loose from the engine area while you work to lessen the possibility of dropping something in the spark plug hole when the plug is removed.
If it is a V6, you will have to remove the upper intake manifold to access the rear 3 plugs.

How do you remove the headlight to replace the bulbs on a 2003 Saturn L200?
1- Open the hood and look at the top of the grill. It is held on by 3 expansion fasteners. Pry the center section up with a flat blade until they click. Then remove the grill.
2- The top tabs of the headlight housing is held on by 2 hex head screws that tighten down over the black plastic tabs on the top of the headlight assembly. Remove these screws.
3- Now look at the front of the headlight assembly. On the inboard side, closes to the grill, there is a white lever. Flip this lever to unlock the headlight assembly.
4- Pull straight toward the front to the car and the assembly will pull out.
Reverse to re-assemble.
I changed the light bulbs by simply reaching in behind the headlamp and turning the bulb, it is a tight fit, but I have big hands and was still able to do it.

The frame/body is the ground on the 1972 Super Beetle. What you did was complete the circuit from your other battery and sent charge from the Positive cable through the frame. The closest/least possible path of resistance was through the negative ground strap on the battery in the VW-especially if you hooked the black cable directly to the negative lead in the VW.
Your fuses should have burned out before any real damage could occur to most of your electronics but you may have damaged your voltage regulator-or if you have fuel injection you may have fried it.
What could be wrong if your left turn signal turns on but does not blink but the right side works?
If you mean that the arrow inside the dash turns on and stays on then your problem is one of the left side turn signal bulbs. Test by turning on your four way (hazard) lights and observing all lights. The one that does not flash is the bulb that needs replacing.

If it's in the same place as a DX, which I believe it is, then it is behind the glove box. All you have to do is remove the stops on the glove box, let it go all the way down, and the filter is right behind.

What is the best way to change spark plugs on a 2001 pathfinder?
I just changed my plugs yesterday, and this is from memory: Be sure the engine is cool. Remove silver engine cover (3 10mm nuts/bolts) Passenger side: 1)Disconnect wire harnesses (2) that are held to a bracket at the rear side of intake runners. These harness are disconnected by pushing the colored tab inward (there is an arrow show that). 2)Disconnect harness plugs (2) from bracket 3)Remove bracket bolts(2 10mm bolts) 4)Remove similar bracket near the front side of intake runners 5)You should now have access to the three coil packs mounted in the middle the valve cover. Each is a small grey block with a connector attached to it, with the block held to the valve cover with a 10mm bolt. The front coil is different thant the other two. 6)Remove the 10mm bolts holdin the coils to the valve cover. 7)Lift the coil straight out,and disconnect the cable attached too the coil. The connector disconnects by squeezing a locking tab on the side of the connector. 8)The spark plugs are now accessible. Driver side: 1)Remove black plastic air tube that goes from engine (throttle body) to air filter housing (6 clamps) 2)On the middle coil pack, you should see that there is an electrical piece on the throttle body that will prevent the coil pack from being removed. Remove the two screws that hold the part to the throttle body, and move the part out of the way (no need to disconnect it electrically) 3)There is also a wire harness bracket below the middle coil pack that has to be moved out of the way. It is held to the valve cover with one 10mm bolt 4)You should now have access to all three coils packs. Remove as explain in the passenger side section. 5)The spark plugs are now accessible.
