The gender of the Gopher in Winnie the Pooh is a male. His full name is Samuel J. Gopher. Gopher was not in the original book, but was later invented to replace piglet, which did not happen.

Disney made the cartoon version very cute.

This character only appeared in the Disney version of the A.J. Milne series about Winnie the Pooh. This is in all probability due to the fact that the gopher (any of several small burrowing rodents) is endemic to North America not the British Isles.

Winnie the Pooh was a teddy bear that a boy named Christopher Robin had. As a young boy, Christopher Robin and Pooh went everywhere together in there own world of make believe. Christopher Robin's father was an author and used his son's love for Winnie the Pooh to create the now famous Winnie the Pooh books. Walt Disney loved these books so much, that he decided to make them into an animated movie.

It is an obvious alternate spelling of the better known donkey and mule sound-track Hee-Haw, and is almost a homonym. For some reasons A.A. Milne, who was a professional English writer, seemed to use misspellings as a comedy device more than any other writer. There is nothing funny about Rabbit Howse, Tigger, or Hunny, and EEyore falls into this language (Camp Runamuck). One might excuse slang in stuff angled at young adults such as Li"l Abner, but not on kiddy fare. I never could see how Winnie The Pooh got away with this bad English usage.

Winnie the Pooh was never a real bear. The bear from the stories was based off of a stuffed bear, which can never die.

Two, The main one is Kanga (Roo's Mom) and the other one was the bird Cassie which made only a couple shows with them.

There also is Christopher Robin' Mom. Kanga had more time on the show and when Christopher Robin's mom came on the show, It only did her voice.

Winnie-the-Pooh was actually written for children. It has become very famous since then and is a favorite character of many children. So yes, Winnie-the-Pooh is appropriate for children, according to most adults.

"Winnie" was surreptitiously brought to England with her owner, and gained unofficial recognition as The Fort Garry Horse regimental mascot. Colebourn left Winnie at the London Zoo while he and his unit were in France; after the war she was officially donated to the zoo, as she had become a much loved attraction there

There are a number of options. Mine is

On first use (first time you will use it in the conversation) Spell WINNIE and using the BSL for Bear which is crossing the arms across the chest with fists closed (making an X shape).

You will then be saying "WINNIE BEAR"

You just use the cross chest sign thereafter as they will now the bear is winnie.
