It was given out on the Knight's Quest at the Medieval Party 2009. It might be brought back for the 2011 Party. If you want it now you can get it on Penguin Storm. (Not my fault if you get banned)

I believe only the members got it on that Medieval party quest last year. Only members have it. Each year there is a medieval party, and there is a quest, and at the end of the quest (when you finish all the games in the quest successfully) there is a prize-and the prize was the golden armour. So currently you cannot get the golden armour on club penguin, and besides, even if it IS the medieval party right now, unless you are a member you cannot get it. And if you are even a member, you need to finish the quest in order to get the golden armour. I hope I have been some help. =)
