Each tablet on the Scrabble board consists of a letter of the alphabet that can be used to create other words. It has a number demarcating a certain score possibility. The blank tablet can however be used as any other word.

They represent bonus spaces. If you lay a tile on top of one, during that turn when you score, you use whatever the bonus says... you double the score of that letter, or that word, etc.

What is the total of 100 scrabble tiles?

I'm going to assume you mean "What is the total score of all scrabble tiles?" As there are 100 tiles in the bag. If you add up the value of all the tiles (12 E tiles, 9 A tiles, 9 I tiles... etc etc) you get a total of 187 points.

What does it mean to swap tiles in scrabble?

Swapping tiles is an option that you have each turn in Scrabble. Instead of making a word, you can choose letters in your hand that you don't want, and trade them for mystery tiles that are still available. Of course, you won't get any points that way, and so making a low-scoring word that gets rid of some of your unwanted tiles is sometimes a better option. If you can't make any words though, then swapping is the best choice.

Are blank spaces in scrabble worth points?

It's worth 0 points. It doesn't matter what letter you are using it as. Answer: If you mean a blank tile, it is worth zero (0) point. However, if you mean a blank square on the scrabble board, the points would depend on the assigned value of the letter tile laid on it.

How many boxes of 12x12 tiles in a 117foot room?

Your answer depends on how many tiles come in each box. All brands of tile are different - your boxes may contain 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, or 18 tiles in each box. Do you mean to say your room is 117 SQUARE feet? If each tile measures 12" x 12" (or one foot by one foot), then each tile is one square foot. With this size of tile, the math is easy. You'd need 117 tiles. Check the labeling on your boxes, and do the math: 117 square feet divided by the number of tiles in each box. The result is the number of boxes you'll need.

How many 12x12 tiles do you need for a room 12x12?

If you're talking floor tiles as opposed to wall tiles and by 12x12 you mean they are 12 inches square, then the answer is 300. Because each tile is one square foot and a 15'x20' room is 300 square feet. Simple, eh?

How many boxes of 12x12 tiles do you need for an 8x6 room?

I assume you mean an 8ft x 6ft room, which is 48ft2. I assume you mean 12in x 12in tiles, which are 1ft2 tiles. I don't know how many tiles are in a box, but you would need 48 12in x 12in tiles.
