Manchester and Birmingham, both large cities, are visited by many people. The most popular city for visits just for tourism is probably Stratford-on-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare.See the Related Link for details about English Tourism. It used to be said that Bath was next after London.Strictly speaking, is Stratford on Avon formally a city?
no,just drive as it is not that far!
There is no translation to Edinburgh, you just use the English name of the city. ====================================================== The German it is pronounced Edinburg (as in Hamburg)
Did you mean in which country Edinburgh is located? If so, Edinburgh is in Scotland and Scotland is part of the UK. By the way, Scotland is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to! :)
There isn't a safari park in Edinburgh, just the zoo. The safari park is near Stirling, though only a short drive away.
A flight from Birmingham, UK --> Edinburgh, Scotlandwould take just over an hour (it's only a 5 hour drive on the M6).+++Yes - but you have to spend time reaching the airport, and then quite some time before take-off, it can take an appreciable time from landing to airport door - then you've to travel the last bit to your destination!
Just outside Edinburgh
Its just called Edinburgh airport, there is only one airport. I used to live near there soo i'd know and there is a train station too btw :D xoxo
The population of Edinburgh has been just under 500,000 for some time now and there is no reason to believe that it will increase substantially by 2016.
Yes. Capital of Scotland. Simple geography :)
Just under 500 miles.
Birmingham Airport is not - despite what some believe - in Birmingham but is in fact just outside the City boundary in the Borough of Solihull. Birmingham has in thepast lobbied to have the airport and the National Exhibition Centre included within its boundaries but has not succeeded in so doing.
