I was driving behind my sons 1997 Chevy Malibu and notice no brake light coming on. Fuse is fine. Both Bulbs are always on. Does a 1997 Chevy Malibu have rear brake lights?

yes they have brake lights and you probably have a bad brake light switch which is on top of the brake pedal under the dash.
