What are the colors for the Arctic fox each season?

In the winter, it becomes white to blend in with the snow.In the summer, it turns regular brown. I guess in the spring it starts loosing its white ,and in the fall it starts loosing its brown.

A Arctic fox's fur is a light brown in the summer and pure white in the winter. As for the length of its tail, i am not quite sure but they are not very long. As a guess i would say 7 to 12 inches.
