Hernando Cortez. He trapped them inside there city walls. cutting off there food and eventually starving them. of course, they surrendered.
Hernando Cortez was a Spanish explorer and Conquistador. He Landed his expedition in the American southwest in search of riches for the Spanish Empire. The expedition eventually made its way to Tenochtitlan where the Aztec capital was located(modern Mexico City). He convinced the Aztecs that he was a god and is responsible for conquering the Aztecs
The Aztecs were a native group to the central Mexico and to the northwestern part of Guatemala. They were the largest controlling group in that area. They set their capital up at Tenochtitlan, which today makes up part of Mexico City (Mexico's current capital). They ruled by fear and force and their economy was a barter system (they traded for what they wanted). They were eventually taken over and nearly eliminated by Hernando Cortez, a Spanish conquistador.
Tenochtitlan was the capital of the Aztec Empire before it was conquered by Hernando Cortez, and became what we know today as Mexico City.
