Serbia was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire and many Serbians were unhappy. That caused WWI which caused the rise of Hitler and WWII and the creation of Israel and all the wars that have happened in the past century. It was a chain reaction pretty much.

WW1 is different than earlier wars because the way in which the war was fought. The Allies of the British Empire, France, Italy and Russia (the USA later on) and the Axis powers of Germany, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Ottoman Empire dug trenches on "fronts" which became stationary points ina conflict. Because of the way of fighting battles new technologies had to be developed so WW1 was the first conflict with early forms of tanks and poisonous gases. Hope this helps :)
Here are the MAIN FORMAL contendants in the WWs. First World War: - Germany - Austro-Hungarian Empire - Ottoman Empire - Bulgaria (Central Powers) vs (Entente Powers) - France - UK - Italy - Russia (abandoned war in 1917) - USA Second World War: - Germany - Italy - Japan - minor powers (Hungary, Romania, Slowakia, Bulgaria) vs - UK - USSR - USA
During the First World War, Germany was allied with the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and Italy. Italy later changed sides in the war. During the Second Word War, Germany was originally allied with Italy, Japan, and the Soviet Union. Germany later betrayed the Soviet Union in 1942. Nazi Germany also established pro-Nazi puppet governments in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Slovakia, and Japan established a puppet government in Thailand.
Serbia wanted to gain nothing from ww1. They were just protecting their home land. No matter what English history says, Serbia never started any wars as my great grandfather was killed by a concentration camp in the 1st ww.
Well, some dates and a broader context would be helpful, but assuming you mean 19-20th century Europe, it was a huge factor in the great political upheavals of that time. While there are many examples, some of the bigger ones are the Balkan independence wars c 1830-1850, and the better known Balkan Wars c.1912. The Austro-Hungarian Empire had to deal with divisive nationalism during its history, and it was felt particulary during WWI, when, for example, the morning orders (for the military) had to be issued in over 10 languages. Shortly after the war, the empire was split into abt 10 different parts or so.
The empire that was destroyed by the thirty years' wars was the Roman Empire which was destroyed by Napoleon.
The Austro-Prussian War (against Austria)and The two Schleswig Wars (against Denmark)
Bulgaria wanted to regain land lost in the second Balkan war from Serbia and later Greece and Romania. When the war broke out Austria-Hungary and Germany made better offers to Bulgaria regarding this lost land and the Pro-German government declared war.
The clone wars were won by the Empire.
No I am pretty sure you cannot get the executor in Star Wars The Empire At War.
