ASVAB scores apply the same to all of the different branches. No conversions are required. However from talking to recruiters from all 5 branches, I can say that each branch will look at your score a little differently when it comes to what you will or will not qualify for. I have worked with recruiters from every branch and seen this take place. The AS in ASVAB stands for Armed Services, so your AFQT ( overall score - Armed Forces Qualifying Test I believe), applies to every branch
High School diploma or GED, and the ability to pass the ASVAB
Why were you disqualified? If it is because you failed the ASVAB, you can always take it again. If you only failed by a tiny margin, it may be possible to get a waiver.
For Corporal is 1719
you can to an extent you can choose either ground air or support then you have to take an ASVAB and if you do good the corps is more lenient on watever job you want.

Yes
Yes. To be in the Marine Corps you must be between the ages of 17 and 29 and are working toward, or have earned, a high school diploma to qualify to enlist. Now to your question, 'Do you have to get good grades to be in the Marine Corps?' If you have to have a 'High School Diploma' to be in the Marine Corps then you must have passing grades to graduate from High School. The better the grades will help you get a high score on your ASVAB Test (Armed Services Vocational Ability Test). Combinations of scores from the nine tests are used to determine qualification for a MOS (Military Occupation Specialty). Normally the better the score on the ASVAB Test the better the job in the military. So do your best to get good grades in High School.
