JFK has never been on a US quarter only half dollars, post new question
Kennedy first appeared on the half dollar in 1964. This was the last year of 90% silver US coins, so this is the only year of 90% silver Kennedy half. 1965-1970 were 40% silver. All circulation-strike halves dated 1971 and later are made of copper-nickel, like dimes and quarters.
No such coin. Kennedy is only on the half dollars. Starting In 1971, the dollar coins are Eisenhower dollars. The coin is just face value.
It's either not 1971, not silver, or not a Vermont state quarter:Vermont state quarters were minted in 2001, just as shown at the bottom reverse side of the coin. All circulating US quarters minted since 1965 are made of cupronickel, not silver. All 1971 quarters have the prior eagle design on the reverse.
50 cents, just spend it.
U.S. quarters dated from 1943-1964 are 90% silver. These are common coins that are mostly valued for the silver, about $3.51 each as of today. The 1965 to 1971 are clad coins that are only face value.
None. All 1971 and later circulation halves are copper-nickel just like dimes and quarters.
Kennedy Ochieng was born in 1971.
Kennedy Mitchell was born in 1971.
As opposed to fake silver, LOL? All 1971 and later circulation-strike half dollars are made of the same copper-nickel clad metal used in dimes and quarters. They have no extra value.
All circulating Kennedy halves dated 1971 and later are only worth 50 cents. Feel free to spend it. Regardless of rumors and legends, there has been no silver in circulating half dollars since 1971. They're made of the same copper-nickel alloys used in dimes and quarters.
