95 talon esi I cant find the right tranny for it. is there a difference in the 95 and 96 models mine has 2 extra plugs on it compaired to the other models?
Shouldn't be on 1995-1998 (2G), assuming you are looking for A/T (automatic) for A/T or M/T (manual) for M/T. Also make sure you look for ESI models and not the TSI model. TSI would be for turbo transmission, which is different. There's also TSI AWD. See the charts below. Hope this helps... Not for fitment issues but the WRX tranny is considerably weaker than the STi tranny and the extra power from the STi engine stands a good chance of causing a failure in the WRX tranny (especially the weak 2nd gear).
