You can only feed them dry food and milk, Well, you have a choice of feeding them dry food or natural dog food which you must have 10, 000 nintendogs trainer points to unlock in the shop and you need 2,000 nintendogs trainer points to get the milk there. You need a male and female of the same breed, colour and both had to be brought on the same day so you can't use your original dog that you got at the start of the game. You can't can't take either of them for walks, enter them in contests or take them on any other sort of outing but you can still go to the shops.
