Do you have to shake the money tree to get three bags of money in animal crossing city folk?

yes you can shake a tree or cut down a tree to get money,but it doesn't happen all the time though.You can usally get 100 bells,but i don't think you can get 1,000 bells. Its not a very good idea if you don't want to get stinged by bees or if you want a lot of money.

Yes. The money tree is like any other fruit bearing tree.

(except that i don't know if the money grows back)
