How do you get lumber in Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town?

During Spring there is a Horse Race Festival. You can use money to buy Medals. Medals are used to bet on races. At the end of the day you can trade Medals for prizes. One of the prizes you can trade for is Lumber.

Chop wood.

When you chop a log, stump, or tree you will gain lumber. Lumber is not something you can pick up. It is automatically added to your total amount. The only way to see how much lumber you have is by looking at the Farm Page in the Menu.

To see the Farm Page bring up the Menu using the C button and then use the D-pad to scroll through the pages.

You can find wood to cut by growing trees in your field or by going to Fugue Forest.

Tools go in the toolbox, food goes in the fridge and other items like moonstones and flowers go on the shelf.

Buy an axe, find a piece of wood, stand in front of it and touch it then you've 1 piece of lumber! XXX
