How can you get a burglar outfit in The Sims?

Here is a fast way. Type in BoolProp testingCheatsEnabled true. Then Hold shift and click on your mailbox. Click on NPC, Burglar. Then when the burglar comes, call the cops, and they can come and cuff him (: Sometimes the burglar gets away though so don't think that you're completely safe!

what is an NPC? sorry if i sound stupid, but im not good with abreviations for stuffs.....

It helps if you have two sims (or more) in your family. Okay so when the burglar comes to your house and the police tie his hands, the policeman/woman will come to apologise to a family member before shoving the burglar into the car. Meanwhile the burglar will just be standing beside the car. At this point you can send one of your other family members to the burglar. Click on the man/woman and select 'set free', the burglar will sneak away and the policeman/woman will come running to you and say something like "Looks like the thief got away this time- i wonder how those cuffs were on tight" then he will get in his car and drive away! Well you cant get a burglar in it but you can get vISITORS THAT ARE SPYS aKA work for crime.. you would kow because they would have a long grey shirt with hite pants call the police and they will have a fight if the police loses another cop will come but watch out when ur not watching they can slip stuff into there jacket have fun!

There's no burglar outfit in The Sims unless you join the Life of Crime Career. Another way is to buy a costume trunk and search for the burglar outfit. But they don't stay long and still doesn't replace your Sim's everyday outfit.
