As soon as the battle begins, run away through the crack and go down to the bottom. In the center is a button that make the water rise (along with Ronk). Ronk also becomes slow moving. Hit him from behind until the water level drops again. Repeat the cycle over again until he is defeated. Be careful though, he gets faster the more you hit him.
