How do you delete in a sim in The Sims 3 for a PC?

on computer; go onto build mode and click on the door, then move the mouse to where ever you want the door to go and click again. the door should then be in the place you want it to be :)

on iPod; you can't :(

Go into the build and buy icon select grab (which looks like a hand) then click the door you would like to remove and press delete.

You do ctrl shirt c than type in moveobjects on and go to the furniture mode and than click on the sim and press delete (but you don't get $ which stinks)

They open automatically when a sim is routed through them.
