How do you find where the two stone tablets intersect in legend of Zelda phantom hourglass?

You need to mark the 4 stones, with an X.

Then when you do that, you can simply draw a line from North to South stones, and from West to East stones.. Once you do that, you get an big X

If you go to the middle of the X, and your lines were ok, you will dig there, and find a hidden cave.
