How do you get into the caves under Skyloft in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword?

Ok first go in the house next to the cave and talk to the guy in there. His name is Romanos. Eventually he will tell you to get lost so when you go near the doorway he will say " HEY KID COME BACK HERE!" so talk to him again, when you finished talking to him the lady should let you in the cave

Right below the cave is a small farm on which a lady is working on. If that's right there should be a house on the right in side the farms fences. Inside is the lady's son, talk to him he'll talk. Leave the house, he asks you to come back. Go back in and talk to him again, he'll talk again. Go out and talk to the lady and go into the cave, if she stops you try to go again. It should be fine the second time.

You send a boomerang to break the barrel then move to the edge of the cliff and use your grappling hook to grab it and bring it to you.
