To get the Peace medal, you have to jump on the thing that takes you up and down (the wood and rope thingermabob) you have to get on the thing taht is right in between the two platforms, not up high, but on the ground, but still after the waterfall, and jump right to the peace medal. Once you touch it, it will go into your inventory.
