How do you practice in counter strike 1.6?

If you are playing in a server, press the escape (Esc) button on your keyboard and the "Quit Game" option should be listed at the very bottom of the options list.

If you are on the menu screen, then the "Quit Game" should be available.

You play alot you can start off with bots by bringing down the consol with this button right under the ESC (`) press that it will bring down the consol. If not check the menu options in advanced you should be able to turn on the consol button. Then you can type in add_bot and choose a side, but best way to do it is to play online with other good players and learn from them make friends.
