My harvest moon ds game freezes when the menu is about to show up .new game and continue.Is there a way to fix this?
Well if its only with the game, then its obviously the cartridge. If its not just one game, its the system.
Take a damp q-tip (no not sopping wet, just a little bit wet) and clean the inside. If this doesnt work, you will unfortunately replace the cartridge. By doing so, its not ensured that any safe data will be rescued.
My source? It happened to me too T-T Mine freezes on the ds menu at the very beginning. But its my glitched up cartridge.

If you go on www.fogu.com they have all the information you need... from the first Harvest Moon to the last. It will come up a menu sorta thing and to the left you click on the Harvest Moon game you need help on. It will also tell you what girls/boys are eligible and what they like to get there hearts up. I have used it for both of my Harvest Moon games. (Harvest Moon DS.....Harvest Moon Magical Melody) Try it :D

If you press start you can go to options in your game and it should say Save/Load and then you can load up your game. I just wish I knew how to skip all the crap in the beginning

You look in the menu. You hold C and you will see a menu pop up. Right now yous hould be looking at your rucksack, but move to the right and you will see a heart screen. Hope this helps.

Well first, you have to get a tree/ shrub and to do that you go to the building menu and in the first section, you scroll until you get to the shrub. Then click on it and place it in your village. Click on the shrub and the side menu will pop up. Find pears and click on them. If you are not the required level, then it is impossible to harvest pears. They will take 48 hours to grow (or smurfberries). When they are finished growing, just click on them to harvest! (if you already have a shrub, skip the first part!)
