Yes as far as i know. On sims 3 Xbox 360 you can call the services on the game and click on Adoption services. The when the Social worker comes a box appears on the screen asking whether you want a boy or a girl and how old the kid you want is.
You can have a baby, Toddler or child. Hope this helps:)
