my friend says it could get scratched up thats why he always takes it out when not used
It will occasionally corrupt your save on the game you did it on.
NO!
This happens because while the disc was in the xbox console, the console was moved. It does not matter if the console was on or off.
Yes, they can. That is why you are advised not to move the console while using it and not to leave discs inside it when it is not being used.
Keep it turned off while charging.
No even the PS3 can not change like the PS4 with new features that allows it to charge the controller while the console is turned off
I had one that did that and it turned out that the springs that hold the game firmly in place were worn to the point that it would not get a grip on it. If you are careful you can put a small tool inside and pull the clasps out a little. Just make sure its turned off first. ZAPPP! Hope this helps.

Leaving your XBox on for extended periods of time will not break the console itself. But it is not suggested that you leave it on for too long. If you are not able to check on the console while it is running then you run the risk of the console overheating, which can cause damage to the system. It is okay to do this every once and a while but running the system for extended periods of time will, over time, lower the life of the system. Actually if you leave it on it won't damage your whole system but it will burn out your drive to where you can't use it. When the xbox is running and you have a disc in it the lens will get hot and eventually it will over heat and melt. Worst you can get the red ring of death.
Ive tried for quite a while, and I dont think you can get into the console.
They go and stay with family, relatives, or at a hotel somewhere while thoose who didn't leave die.

Yes. However, the console will reset itself.
