Make sure to uninstall all traces of the wifi dongle even being installed, including the drivers. Then download the latest updated drivers from Nintendos official site. (You never need the CD again, as it most likely has inferior software)
Goto, start-connect to-show all connections
Right click any of your LAN or High speed connections and goto properties.
You will see a list of options and you should notice QoS Packet Scheduler. Click it once so it highlights it then click the uninstall button and follow the prompts, don't worry, this is easily reinstallable.
Once The QoS is uninstalled and off the list of items, click ok until all dialog boxes are closed then run the newly downloaded file that was saved on your computer, finding a auto run file within the file you downloaded. Install as normal and it should work fine. Once everything is installed proper, go back to start-connect to-show all connections. You should notice a new LAN or high speed connection with the description as Nintendo wifi USB connector.
Right click any LAN or High Speed connection, and goto properties. Click the install button and click 'Services' once, then add, you should see the QoS thing from before.
Click it once to highlight it and click 'Ok' and follow the prompts until it appears installed again.
The last step is simple. In the properties of your Nintendo wifi USB connector find the QoS again, and instead of unistalling it again, click the little tick so it is gone/off. Click 'Ok' and you should be done.
Ive tried putting this on wikipedia but they wreckon because me and a few 'friends' had problems, dosent mean its the wifi dongle. It wasnt my friends, just me...oh, and about 50 others (or more) in over a 1,000 page discussion in a forum, but wikipedia don't allow forums as solid evidence! so they erased my work!
Oh, when you want to use the dongle, it can be risky, all firewalls must be off. Also, if you get an error like (the Nintendo ds was able to connect to the wifi USB connector but was unable to connect to the internet) this is the problem i found.
Are you using a USB cable to connect from your modem to laptop/desktop?
If so, DONT. Use a ethernet cable, for some reason it cant send the data through a USB cable, it needs to be the good old ethernet cable. This problem was associated with me and my cable modem and cable internet, i havent diagnosed other connections such as adsl or wireless.

first you have to have a game with WiFi connection and then before selecting start go to some thing that says NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS and you have to have a Internet connection
Usua SD,HJBASDFASDFGSFSDFG
This means that there Isn't a connection point to connect to Nintendo wfc with, you need some sort of internet connection point to connect your ds to either wirelessly or with some sort of cable, without one of these, you cannot connect your ds to wi-fi Hi,, and I'm here to say that actually if you need a location... http://www.Nintendo.com/games/wifi/hotspot can show you where you live, the closest place to access wifi. Hope you enjoy!!
The DS is WiFi Enabled, meaning it can connect to the internet, so basically, what it means when you can talk with friends with wifi, is that you can speak into the microphone and others can hear you. You'll most likely need their friend code, which is a number that identifies a game card.
type netgear on a netgear wifi if it just says wifi or wireless than type wifirocks
Okay, first its not a real button. Second, All you gotta do is go on your ds game and hit the button that says Nintendo Wifi/WFC setting, then you hit Nintendo Wi-Fi connection settings, next you pick a connecion that says none, finally you take something small and hit the VERY left top corner with it, and last but not least, you see Connection #1/2/3 Settings wait for it to sat okay hit A and there you go!
you have to go onto the home page thing that says start game/ new game/ wifi. you go in to wifi and put in your wifi code.
umm if u chek it says Nintendo ds umm if u chek it says Nintendo ds
If you're trying to connect using the WiFi USB stick, you need to turn off your firewall. It's stopping your connection. (For more help I suggest going to Nintendo.com)
you can tell if you have wifi by seeing if you have a switch at the bottom that says on and off with the pic of a tower and when its on you are conected to wifi. Also the new moddles have wifi in them. and if it does not have the switch you will have to by a wifi card atthe store for the older moddles.
It should do but you should first find out if there are drivers available on the internet to install for your WiFi adapter to work on XP. If there are then shouldn't be a problem at all. Just search for the name or make of your WiFi adapter on Google plus 'XP drivers' and I'm sure you'll be able to get them from somewhere.
what you're reading probably says wifi/off peak which means nights and weekends when cellular data is cheaper or free or on wifi because the download is bigger in size.
