Get the key from the canary bird by shooting it with a pea shooter. (The pea shooter is at he marshal's house and you ask the guy at the desk). After getting the pea shooter and shooting the canary, you will get the key. After unlocking the mine you will go on a cart and go to the other end of the mine. There you will find a blue tulip and bring it back to the man with the HUGE head. He will give you one half of the map to where the bandits are hiding.
