for some reason, this happened every time i went to save my team and by chance i found out that it does save your team/player, it just comes up with the 'unable to save' message. basically once the message has come up click ok, then go back to the screen where you can choose to create a team/player etc. then click on my teams/players and you'll see that from all your attempts to save you have a number of teams/players of which you can then choose to bookmark and then download onto your console - hope this helps
