Square
It is not a large frame.
I had a medium frame 971, the .357 magnum, and the same grips fit it that fit my M68/88 and my .22 caliber M511 Sportsman kit gun. The small frame Pachmayr Compac will fit them all. I would suspect your M85 would be the same. They're all square butt guns.
Yes, a model 66 is a K frame revolver.
Yes
To square a box frame, you need to measure the diagonals of the frame. If the diagonals are equal in length, then the frame is square. If they are not equal, you can adjust the frame by shifting the corners until the diagonals are equal.
The model 65 was produced with the K-frame.
The Model 15 is a "K" frame. This includes 15-1, 15-2 and 15-3. Be sure to keep your old grips, they increase reasale value a great deal. It is a K-frame square butt to be exact. They also made a round butt k-frame and those grips will not work on a square butt.
The specific bike frame model used in this bicycle is the "Aluminum Alloy Frame."
The Model 13 is on a K frame.
Yes it is. Sadly it is no longer made but while it is a.357 mag,Most people shoot .38 special through it . There has been talk of looseness after fireing a lot of high powered .357 mag ammo. Soemcame with the square or Rounded Frame-You can tell by taking off the grips and looking at bottom of frame. Add those new Crimson Light grips and you got yourself an updated Model 65 !
It is a K frame. The original .357 Magnum was an N frame (Model 27). The K frame is smaller and lighter.
The "J" frame is the Smith & Wesson small frame revolver such as the model 36 .38 special. The smallest frame, as in the model 36 Chief's Special.
