After World War 1, the U.S. was "tired" and that lead to the Great Depression. People thought this "Was The End To All Wars".
Later on, the Japenese did a sneek attack on Pearl Harbor by distracting the Military at Washington D.C. This awoke the U.S. [to the Japs, they thought of it as "We awoke the sleepping giant."]. The U.S. joined the war and raised confidence of the captured and the Allies. After the war, more wars came. Such as the Cold War [which was the war of technology]. The U.S. made the most fastest Jet in the world.
After this war, the wars to prevent the neighboring countries from becoming the government of U.S.S.R. [Communitists] came in process [such as the Vietnam War and the Korean War]. The Vietnam War made the use of the helicopter and dangous drugs come in use more often. Its also the first war to be lost. The Korean War lead to use of fighter jets.
