It is all up to personal preference. When I was ten I wore briefs, then when I had to change in front of my friends for gym I switched to boxers because that's what a lot of other people wore. Although, about a third of the class wore briefs, and no one gave them grief for it. Wear spongebob underwear for all I care. If you have a girlfriend, do what she wants.

What Brand?

You should wear brands like Calvin Klein, American Eagle, and Hollister.

What Style?

By the time you are 15, you shouldn't wear classic briefs anymore. You should have something comfortable; not too tight and not to baggy. Boxer briefs are good.

What Color?

Not flashy patterns because you never know when someone will see your underwear. Solid colors are good. Pink if you're feeling out-there but any other color is nice.

I'm 11 and I wear a lot of Hanes bikini or hipster underwear. Simply go to Target when you're still 11 because you don't want to attract attention to yourself by wearing Victoria's Secret underwear yet. So simply go to Target and find some bikini or hipster underwear. You could wear thongs OCCASIONALLY, I find thongs good to wear sometimes, but I only have like 3 thongs in my drawer.

i'm 11 years old and i still wear tighty whities but i don't think there is a problem wearing tighty whities when your 12 years old. I also wear boxer briefs too.
