No black squirrel can't live with out water, no squirrel can. Can you live with out food? Or drink? A squirrel is like us, can't live without food, or water, no matter the type, or animal. Nothing can live without water, not ever plants.

Their bodies dry out, and they would die. So if you see a skinny squirrel, feed and water it.

A gray squirrel will usually chew it's way out of the home or into the living space before it dies due to being trapped in an attic. However, a squirrel, even in a stressed environment can live about a week w/o food or water. Call a professional. Its much more expensive to remove dead animals than to have live ones trapped.

Mostly depending upon thermal conditions of attic, but 5-8 days max, and that is assuming some water sources such as A/C condensate or likewise. No source of water shortens squirrel life span to 4 days roughly.

a grey squirrel can live 2 dayswithout food or water. That is total BS.......I have one trapped in my attic and it has gone 7 days so far......I am looking for a real answer...From a Pro
