You'll have to check your local laws, it is different for each state, and even each county in some cases.
Catahoula Leopard puppies can vary greatly in price depending on factors such as breeder reputation, bloodline, and location. It is important to ensure that you are purchasing from a reputable breeder to ensure the health and quality of the puppy.
I think that depends on the breed. I read that 50% of the people who adopt Dalmatian puppies do not keep them past the first year because they're not prepared for the extremely high energy level. It's a shame because, from a reputable breeder, these dogs settle down to become great (but still very active) pets.
If its a breeder that its been sold to 6 weeks at the least if its a normal person at least 8 weeks.
When you are a Reputable Breeder what defines a Reputable Breeder and why breeding dogs should take place. * The Breeder has invested in showing the dogs and they have acheived Championship titles, and even better titles at both ends * The breeder follows the breed standard and the breed clubs code of ethics * The breeder only has 1 or 2 different breeds of dogs they own. * The breeder has health checks on parents such as OFA hips/thyroid/ Cerf for eyes. * The Breeder has researched the pedigrees of the dogs for any health issues to avoid. * The breeder breeds less then 3 litters a year. * The breeder only sells to approved buyers with a contract and health certificate NEVER Breed because I think my dog is a nice looking dog You think we should let her have one litter before we spay We could make a little extra money The children should see puppies being born The above are never reasons to breed a dog, breeding should not be taken lightly it is a huge investment in time/money and responsibility to produce a litter and no guarantee of healthy puppies once you bring a life into this world you are responsible for it, will you take it back when the owner does not want it any longer? Do you really know what makes a good breed representative. These are the puppies or dogs that end up on the street or in the animal shelters. Reputable Breeders take back there puppies if the case should arise, and find them another good home. Will you? Support Reputable breeders, they sacrifice a lot of time/money to produce good dogs, spending weekends at shows, training, health testing. It takes 3 years to keep a female to breed, and the cost of the above to get her ready to breed with championships and health testing is anywhere from $8, 000.00 to $$20,000.00 do you really think they breed a litter a year for the money, Reputable breeders do not make money. Only Puppy mills and backyard breeders make money breeding puppies, relying on impulse emotional buyers on the street corners. Enough Said I
Puppies are typically born in the spring or summer months. This time of year provides warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, creating a more favorable environment for the mother and her puppies.

In Pennsylvania, you can sell up to 25 puppies per year without needing a kennel license. If you sell more than 25 puppies annually, you are required to obtain a kennel license from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. It's important to also comply with local ordinances and regulations regarding pet sales. Always check for the most current regulations, as laws may change.

a dog breeder can make up to 1000 dollars per puppy! ----------------- I dont know what the above people are talking about but you can make up and over 6,000 per dog if its trained or if your selling breeding rights. also you can sell it for higer price if your a dog breeder who wants money only and not to please familys and the dogs this means 1500-2500 per dog. find a nice breeder and dont buy these expensive puppies cuz its the first place you looked, look for the cheap ones with same quality and is registered with AKC ...there are plenty you just have to dig past the money wanting people.
It depends on the size of the litters they have. A female can be bred twice a year, or about every six months. Many breeds have litters of around six puppies but there are times where they will have a litter with as many as 12 or 15 puppies which could mean as many as 30 puppies in one year! Depending on the breed and health of the dog it varies, but the average is 9.
Wolves can only have puppies once a year in the spring. They usually have around 8 puppies, but over half will die before reaching adulthood. True high content wolfdogs only have puppies once a year in spring, just like pure wolves, as well.
the sell ten a year
