Country codes never begin with zero. Country codes beginning with +26 are in or off the coast of southern Africa, but you need the next digit to specify which country.

+260 = Zambia

+261 = Madagascar

+262 = Réunion and Mayotte

+263 = Zimbabwe

+264 = Namibia

+265 = Malawi

+266 = Lesotho

+267 = Botswana

+268 = Swaziland

+269 = Comoros

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
