I assume Aikedo is a typo.
Some schools have an age requirement for children. Most common are 7-9 years old. They are ranked the same as an adult. However, In Japan, you are a white belt until you are black. If you are not an adult, they would give you a purple belt. When you become of age as an adult, you would then be able to wear a black belt. Aikido for kids is a good process because they can grasp many concepts early in life which makes their technique better as they get older and understand certain concepts and principles more clearly. Sometimes there will just be a kids class only for children. This is good if you can find a place that has that many children. Other than that they are mixed in with the adults. The children will learn the same however caution will be used to prevent injury or harm. This is also practiced with adults so there is no difference.
Depending on the school, the ranking system could be different. There is no correct order of belts other than white and black.
Aikedo is a martail art which defends yourself
