Can you keep the Infernus that Steve tells you to steal in GTA 4?

I'm pretty sure that bernie/florian goves you an infernus, but i dont think you can keep it because mine went away. But the one steve asks you to steal you can just park it at your safehouse, save, and there will be the same infernus in the same place you stole it from but you still keep yours.

You should get a message from Stevie asking you to get cars, there comes a point where you have to get the infernus (if you don't know where it is then google it and you will find a map showing you where) and then you can get it, and if you don't give it to Stevie then you can keep on getting it from the same place.
